Levi Laboratory offers a full service lab open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. – 12 Noon. The lab is located on the first floor of Levi Hospital, 300 Prospect Avenue, Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Levi Laboratory is dedicated to providing quick and accurate results of physician-ordered tests.

Services Offered
We offer same day results on most general chemistries, blood counts and routine urinalysis procedures. We work with blood and urine samples. We do not offer testing on spinal fluid and certain other body fluids that must be collected directly by the physician. Our wait time is significantly lower than other laboratories.

What do I need to do to prepare for my visit?
Prior to coming to the lab, please register in the Admissions Office on the third floor and receive a hospital identification card. This will need to be done only at your initial visit. For follow-up visits just make sure that you bring your hospital identification card with you because it contains the information needed to properly process your work. If your doctor advises that you should not eat before a test, please come early and do not eat or drink for at least 8 hours prior to having your blood drawn (water is usually okay).

What does the lab need from my doctor?
Laboratory staff will be glad to take care of most of your laboratory needs, but please come prepared. Please bring a written order from your physician for your lab work. The physician may give you the order on a prescription pad that you can present to us upon your arrival or it can be faxed to us directly from the physician’s office. Please make sure this includes either a mailing address or fax number in order for us to send the results back to your physician in a timely manner. For further information please call 501-622-3560 or fax at 501-622-3364. The laboratory staff will be glad to help in any way possible.
