Levi Hospital: Providing Therapy for the Body and the Mind
Levi Hospital opened its doors in 1914 and is licensed as a Surgery and General Medical Care Hospital for 81 beds offering services such as outpatient physical rehabilitation (providing physical therapy, occupational therapy and sports medicine), an arthritis treatment clinic, X-Ray, laboratory, osteoporosis testing and treatment, inpatient adult psychiatric services and an intensive outpatient psychiatric program called Transitions.
Hot Springs Rehab Therapy
Hot Springs Rehab Facility Levi Hospital’s outpatient rehab services house a 3,000 square ft. gym and a 50’ x 20’ pool filled with thermal waters from Hot Springs National Park. Levi Hospital is the only place in the world that a person can get physical or occupational therapy in the Hot Springs National Park Thermal Water. This Hot Springs rehab therapy aids patients in recovery from strokes, surgery, accidents and sports-related injuries and treatment to help ease symptoms of various diseases including osteoporosis, lupus and arthritis. Levi also provides a student athlete sports medicine outreach program in area schools by providing a Certified Athletic Trainer on the sidelines at practices and games. Levi has two Hot Springs rehab locations to serve you. In addition to its location on 300 Prospect Avenue, Levi has a satellite outpatient rehab therapy clinic at the YMCA.
Levi helps to heal the body and the mind. In addition to providing physical and occupational therapy, Levi offers Arkansas mental health therapy through two programs.
Levi’s Inpatient Adult Psychiatric Program began in 1988. Levi’s psychiatric program serves people from all over Arkansas because we have one of the few adult inpatient Arkansas mental health programs (and the only one in Garland County). The Transitions Intensive Outpatient Psychiatric Program is a short term outpatient Arkansas mental health program that can be alternative to inpatient psychiatric treatment or a transition from inpatient treatment to traditional outpatient care.
Levi Hospital is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. For more information about this Arkansas mental health program, Hot Springs rehab or any other Levi Hospital services, please call 501-624-1281. Levi Hospital has been serving our community's needs since 1914.
